On our second night in Ukraine I pulled a tooth and the next morning the Ukrainian tooth fairy gave me Ukrainian(Grievna) and American money. I know the pic looks weird but the tooth was WAY back there so I had to make my mouth wide enough for u to see it. It's the fourth day that we are here in Ukraine and we have an 11:20pm train ride to Nadia's region and I am looking forward to seeing her. I will post some pics of Nadia probably Thursday.

ReplyDeleteThere is a market by the orphanage where you can spend your Tooth Fairy money :). Check out the candy aisle in the grocery stores, too. A lot of the BIG candy bars are 25 cents! And they are yummy :).
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing all about Nadia!!
Since I am always giving your mom tips, I'll have to give you boys a tip, too: Use the restroom BEFORE you get on the train :). The bathrooms are super, super scary. If you do use one, you have to post about it!
Have a great trip to Zap, Ferguson Family!
Wow, never knew the Tooth Fairy was so hip, giving out money that can be spent in whatever county you happen to be in when the tooth falls out! I would definitely check out those giant , 25 cent candy bars, Micheal.

Hi Michael,
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed your first writings on your blog and I am looking forward to hearing from Allen. Your expression is priceless. Are you leaving your tooth in Kiev? Longing to see you and your whole family with Nadia tomorrow. Love you. Nonna

Well that is VERY cool! :) Didn't know the tooth fairy brought Ukrainian money. Maybe you should start wiggling some other teeth in your mouth--you never know--you might get lucky and get another visit from the tooth fairy. :)
ReplyDeleteI knew the Tooth Fairy was international! Congrats! Mrs. Frye
